GovernmentCIO awarded Systems Analysis and Quality Assurance for CARS and CAROLS at VA

The mission of the department of veterans affairs, debt management center (dmc), is to provide debt collection services within the department to both the veterans benefits administration, the veterans health administration and national cemetery administration.  The va dmc requires extensive programming and processing changes in their automated collection system - the centralized accounts receivable system (cars) and the centralized accounts receivable on line system (carols) which allows them to implement paperless check processing as required by the department of treasury.  GCIO is providing system analysis and quality assurance for financial processes and to track the payment processing for reporting and accounting purposes.
