Alan Balutis is a Distinguished Fellow and Senior Director, North American Public Sector for Cisco Systems. Balutis joined the networking leader after more than 30 years in public service and industry leadership roles. Most recently, he was President and Chief Executive Officer, Government Strategies, of a leading market research firm, INPUT. Before that, he served as COO of a small minority-owned firm.
James P. Moran Jr. served the 8th congressional district in Virginia from 1991 until 2015. During his tenure, Congressman Moran was named High Technology Legislator of the Year by an industry group, for his work towards resolving the impending Y2K issue. He represented a district that included the Dulles Technology Corridor, a part of Northern Virginia with a higher density of technology-centered companies and workers. He served on the Appropriations Committee as well as the Subcommittee on Defense, and the Subcommittee on Interior and Environment.
Congressman Jeff Miller represented the 1st congressional district in Florida from 2001 until 2017. He served on the Committee on Armed Services as well as the Committee on Veterans' Affairs. Congressman Miller worked towards resolving the backlog of veterans disability claims as well as improving veterans' access to care.
